On the 13th of February 1987, Yves Surprenant, working in the field of pest control for several years, decided to start his own company Extermination Yves Surprenant Inc.
He took this decision in order to meet the needs of all in the Greater Montreal area and the surrounding area. Thanks to his honesty and personality, Yves has been able to put together a team that, over the years, has offered a quality of service that is above expectations, surpassing every other competitor out there.
It was in 2012 that the Surprenant Group was born. With the merger of Extermination Montreal and Yves Surprenant Inc., the company’s capacity rose to another level.
In addition to being a major player in fumigation in Quebec, the organization also added bird control to its services. It is in 2017 that Groupe Surprenant starts a new chapter with maritime fumigation, which mainly concerns the Canadian agri-food market.
The company seeks to develop the various markets in order to consolidate its pole position in the pest management market in Quebec and Canada.
